We feel that the home/school partnership is very important. We offer home visits upon request, parent/teacher conferences, and an open door policy to help facilitate this relationship. Please feel free to come to us to share your joys, concerns or questions. Each child new to the program is invited to share information about their family and life at home before school even begins, including family photos which we integrate into the curriculum during the first few weeks of school. This provides both teachers and families the opportunity to get to know one another. The children enjoy sharing their experiences with their teachers and our goal is to make their transition to school as comfortable as possible. We have an observation window so parents can watch their child at play at any time, and send photos of each child enjoying the school day throughout the year. We also communicate weekly through the Bloomz app - an easy way to keep in touch for parents AND teachers. Parents may bring in special snacks to celebrate birthdays and unbirthdays. Please check with teachers about any possible allergies. Our classroom is nut-free and glass free for everyone's safety.

School Cancellations
When Groton Public Schools are delayed or cancelled due to stormy weather, we are not in session. Cancellations are broadcast on news channels 3, 4 & 19 and also on local radio stations.
